Data Integration
Data integration (ETL) stands for the Extraction and Transformation of data within an IT structure. Usually these processes extract data from various Data sources (databases,files, applications, Web Services, E-Mail, etc.), use different rules of transformation (lookup, join, clearing of duplicates, aggregation, etc.) and finally Load the Data into the desired system.
In Comparison to other ETL Tools, Palo ETL is tailored to the specific needs of Palo. This allows the Palo OLAP to be supported as a Data source and as a Data Target. Handling of the cubes, levels, attributes and rules is very simple. The relational model of the Data sources can therefore easily be transformed into an OLAP model.
