Trelleborgs Kommun simplifies HR planning with Jedox planning and forecasting

Contract follows Jedox’s recent partnership with Malmo-based XLENT’s specialist planning and analytics team

Freiburg, Germany – October 20th, 2021: Jedox, a leading global provider of cloud-based enterprise performance management software, has announced a new contract following the company’s recent partnership with XLENT’s specialist planning and analytics consultancy team based in Malmö, Sweden.

Trelleborgs Kommun, Sweden’s southernmost municipality, will use a solution developed by the XLENT team based on Jedox planning and forecasting capabilities as part of an HR cost management solution. Deploying Jedox across the municipality will simplify HR cost planning, providing managers across the municipality with much greater control and insight into their HR costs and planning.

According to Trelleborgs Kommun’s Deputy Municipal Director, Bo Carlbark, “Previously we had to refer all HR budgeting and forecasting queries to controllers in our central Finance team – taking up far too much of their time, and also making it much harder for different departments to carry out their HR planning. HR costs account for around 70% of the municipality’s overall budget. However, with the Jedox-based solution from XLENT in place, we can now optimize our HR planning while still handling all the inevitable complexities associated with employment.”
